Ratchet peered out from his hiding place, a small, cramped cave at the base of a limestone cliff.
The cave was hardly a "proper" cave--created as it was by large slabs of fallen rock that had weathered from the walls of the surrounding gorge. But, seeing as he was light on other options, it was the best he could do given the circumstances.
His spark tightened painfully at the recollec

War and Wings: Chapter 12--Revelation
Rated T for generic humor, romance stuff---no porn (sorry :D), wartime violence, blood, and Cybertronian cursing

Io waited until Crossarm's office door had closed behind them and they were partway down the hall before she rounded on her charge, drunken or not, and unleashed upon him the thoughts that had frolicked about in her processor from the moment they¬ had first suffered their CO's ire.
"I cannot believe you of all people would do something so... so... foolish," She rumbled disapprovingly. "Attacking Crossarm, getting involved in the fight with Fo

Over the years, the Transformers legacy has seen retcon and explanation into all manner of things throughout the continuity. One thing that has never been fully explored, however, is the concept of deeper relationships. That is to say, the concept of what, for a Transformer, constitutes sexuality. This essay does not cover the nuances of what is considered "sticky-fic" (transformers with human reproductive systems), but instead seeks to underline the logistics behind one fan's theories towards "plug 'n' play" and "spark bonding."
This essay will cover a broad range of subjects from the nature of the spark and a general overview of what bonding is to the dangers of it and what can result from a spark bond. If, after reading this essay, you still have questions regarding my theories, I will gladly answer them. This is not to convince you to use this set of theories. This is an essay that sets out to explain how I believe things are done.
This essay is being uploaded in sections. Eventually, I'll put the whole thing together on a website for people to visit. But that'll come later.
Transformers is not mine. The views and theories expressed in this essay are my own, although I am fine with other people using my concepts if they so wish.
AS A REMINDER, nothing in here is canon. This is my opinion of how things work in the Transformers universe. Please pay attention to the date this was posted before commenting. I know the whole deal in the Arcee Spotlight, I /hated/ the Arcee Spotlight, and do not regard it as part of the world I write.
These essays are in regards to G1 with BW influences and do not take into account Dreamwave or IDW's comic-verses, which I count as their own continuities. Thank you.
