Say Ahh

Oh, he knew of them. He remembered being a young boy when the robots had come, with their then keeper, on a visit to his father. For a long time, he thought he had dreamed them up. Beautifully crafted machines, made of copper and brass and steel, completely autonomous and possessing both cognitive thought and the ability to learn and reason.

And, though he had heard it denied, the ability to feel as well, for Rabbit’s expression was fearful - wary, even - as the mechanical genius looked him over, no matter how gentle and careful Tony’s hands were. His bicolored optics were darting around, especially when That’ll Be the Way Home came over the speakers in the lab.

“The la-lady said our music wasn’t rea-rea-really your thing.”

That caused Tony to grin as he shined the small light in his hand into the automaton’s mouth. “Nonsense. I’ve always enjoyed metal.”

So yeah I think it'd be really cute if the bots met the Avengers.

And if they somehow knew Steve Rogers back in WWII because they'd be such Cap fanboys don't deny it.
